Biography
Vyvid and his brother Vyrus have the same mother but different fathers (Vyrus is pure Tenebrae). When his Tenebrae mother and Solari father divorced, Vyvid went with his father. He was brought up Rizenist and is of a notably scientific, anti-magical bent for someone who looks more Tenebrae than Solari. (Note: "Rizen" is a Solari philosophical term. It is a metaphysical entity that performs many of the more abstract functions that Celesti attribute to Enuzir, such as being the "prime mover" or "first cause" of existence. Hence compatibility between Solari and Celesti beliefs.)
In the interim between high school and university, Vyvid got involved with Negativ, a very troubled young woman who was wrapped up with many of the same sordid people as Vyrus was (and is). Due to his living with her and dealing with her drug problems, gang members being around, etc., Vyvid ended up in several dodgy situations and has once had to shoot someone in self-defense (not fatal).
Between drug abuse and issues of fidelity, eventually Vyvid broke up with Negativ. He walked away from the relationship with a decidedly disapproving view of Necronoctism, on which he blamed many of his ex-girlfriend's overindulgences. Vyvid then went to university, took computer science and got a job as an application developer. Although he is frustrated by Vyrus' continued slacking off and keeping of questionable company, he still allows Vyrus to live with him so that Vyvid can at least keep an eye on his younger brother.
