Races of Rhadixe
Human
Most of the action in "Angels of Disruption" takes place in Rhadixe, a world inhabited by four human races. These races are:

The Celesti
They call themselves "The Righteous" and worship Enuzir. It is primarily to them that Enuzir has promised deliverance from evil. Celesti tend to see it as their duty to proselytize, and at times, actively "save" the other races from their misguided ways.
The Solari
Officially the Solari are atheistic, but over the course of the last few hundred years, their philosophy and metaphysics have become increasingly compatible with the beliefs of the Celesti. The two races are thus allied, and many Celesti believe that at the last judgment, Solari will only be given a minor penance, upon the fulfillment of which they will be elligible for the same beautitude as the Celesti themselves. Solari in turn are somewhat patronizing toward the Celesti, but for practical economic and political reasons they make a great effort to remain on good terms.
The Lunae
The Lunae are a diverse people spread over many lands. Other than their devotion to the Naia, and their skin, which is always some shade of blue, the different Lunae nations vary broadly in their beliefs and customs. Many Lunae lands have been, and in some cases remain, colonized by Celesti and Solari.
The Tenebrae
In the eyes of the other races, the pale-skinned Tenebrae are a degenerate people whose customs and religion promote sensory indulgence, chaotic sexuality and a dangerous preference for the aesthetic over the ethical. The Lunae approach them with trepidation, the Solari disdain their irrationality, and the Celesti see them as the very incarnation of evil. Due to the resulting warfare, persecution and so on that the Tenebrae have suffered, in present-day Rhadixe the Tenebrae are concentrated in a single (albeit large) city, Methakasha.

Non-Human
Two intelligent non-human races also exist on Rhadixe:

The Kimerae
Kimerae is the term used to refer collectively to twelve species of magical creatures, all of which are intelligent:
  • Large Kimerae: Dragon, Griffin, Beholder, Wraith
  • Human-sized Kimerae: Basilisk, Lamia, Wolven (Note: Lamia are shapeshifters and may interbreed with humans; Jairus' mistress, Mirrore Invokasha, is half-Lamia.)
  • Child-sized Kimerae: Imp, Lilim
  • Small Kimerae: Faery, Hob, Simurg
The Kimerae were created by the Daemons, and traditionally interact most with the Tenebrae. Hence the Kimerae and Tenebrae have been similarly affected by the misfortunes of history. Kimerae are rare or non-existant in present-day Rhadixe. To some extent this is due to their withdrawal into the dream world though, so it would be possible for the Kimerae to return to the world in force if the right magical conditions arise.
The Sinistre
The Sinistre are beings who were once human, but were transformed by a parasite into vampiric entities. As the parasite is native to the lands of the Tenebrae, all known Sinistre were once Tenebrae, and constitute a secret society within the race.
